Contract specifics
We have currently developed, funded and installed 5 solar PV systems under a direct private wire PPA arrangement on 5 Iron Mountain sites across the UK. These are all roof mounted solar PV systems ranging from 100kWp – 1MWp
The remaining sites are currently under various stages in the development process
We have a mixture of both freehold and leasehold sites with each site bringing its own level of title complexity
We have successfully navigated the PPA and lease clauses, option agreement, bank requirements, investment committee requirements, client requirements, landlord requirements, FM Global technical requirements, local authority planning requirements, client HSE requirements and DNO requirements
Having built a strong working relationship Eden, Iron Mountain, CBRE and our key sub-contractors meet weekly via video link to ensure contractual progression of all sites, to solve any blockages and to keep up to date with the critical path
If there are any issues, they are quickly resolved openly due to the strong team relationship that has been successfully built by all parties
Our individual legal teams also meet weekly to ensure legal progression through the various title work stages
Contract Value
£2,362,964 Across 11 sites, total installed capacity 3.342MW with the largest single site being 1,000kWp. To date the largest installation has been at Egerton Road, Birmingham at 524kWp
Project completion
All projects to date have been completed on time with the first site (Egerton Rd) having to meet the FiT pre-registration deadlines
Iron Mountain are continuing to roll their solar PPA program with Eden Sustainable LTD and Aniron and more sites are being added for assessment and development on a regular basis
